Bio
Cocoon, a performance art piece exploring notions of transition and change, performed by Jiujiang University students in Jiujiang, China, was created by Rose Camastro-Pritchett and edited by Zach Breman. Performance sponsored in part by Jiujiang University and Columbia College Chicago.
As part of the Museum of Contemporary Arts, Chicago, Illinois, Works-in-Progress program, Rose Camastro-Pritchett shared her creative process with museum visitors. Video created by Mary Filice.
Bundling is a grieving/healing/honoring ceremony. Participants collect items of the person they wish to honor: photographs, personal effects, objects that are representative of something the person liked or did, and handwritten stories about them which are given to Camastro-Pritchett to wrap into a bundle.
